About Share

How was SHARE created?

When we set out to create SHARE, we started by talking to as many people as we could to understand where the major persistent issues in professional development are. One thing that we heard louder than just about any message was the risk of teacher burnout and the need for a renewed focus on building resilience, particularly now in light of the pandemic and its effects on education.

This and many more conversations with teachers and administrators led us to create the Source for Help, Advancement, and Renewal for Educators: SHARE. The goal of the platform is to provide a catalyst for conversation and growth in educational communities.

We bring together designers, administrators, teachers, and subject matter experts to create courses intended to address essential topics like trauma in the community and building resilience. We hope that conversations begun in the online discussion forums, which are a part of every course, will extend to classrooms, breakrooms, and faculty meetings, because most of the challenges our educational communities face can only be solved when people come together locally and speak in a common language.
